RIP Dennis, I was fortunate to know him for the three years before his passing, he was a spectacular and caring guy who will never be forgotten. I loved sitting around with him and working with him. He was always a leader and a fatherly figure in my eyes. He has taught me lots to know and although I am only going on 15, he will always have a special spot in my heart.

As you all are getting ready for an extremely emotional, beautiful day to celebrate the life of Uncle Dennis, I thought I would share a few things since I cannot be there with you all today. I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to write until I saw the picture of Uncle Dennis and Vaira. Just by seeing a picture of Uncle Dennis I could hear his voice, see his mannerisms. This speaks so loudly as to who he was as a person. You only had to meet him once to never forget him. He hated drama. He loved deeply. He never made apologies for who he was. He used four letter words as verbs, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, and nicknames. It is said that when you live in the hearts of people who love you, you never truly die. Cheers, Uncle Den, to never dying and always being with us. Until we meet again. We love you.

One of the most genuine people we knew. His laugh and personality was larger than life. Dennis worked on our land this past March and did a great job! When he was done I took a picture of Dennis and his dogs. He was so grateful and overwhelmed with appreciation. We will forever remember this rugged man with big heart. We will miss you my friend!

RIP Dennis. Dennis was one of my oldest friends. he was one of the hardest working and tough guys I ever knew. Dennis was always sticking up for the little guy when a bully was picking on him. something He did for me when as a tiny first grader and just moved to town. He always had a smile and a laugh for me no matter what. He was generous to a fault and would always offer to help you out in a pinch. He was always the same guy, I could go 5 years and not see him and then run into him, start talking and it would be as if I just saw him yesterday. Dennis was one of a kind. he lived his life his way on his own terms and that's one of the things I loved the most about him. I'm gonna miss him, the world was a better place with Dennis in it.

Dennis was such a great guy! He had an amazing personality on him... One of my hardest moments was when My house burnt down back in 08" and he shows up at my mothers house wanting to help ... He will be so deeply missed! I have known him since I was a kid. Being friends with my dad and mother. He was also a big tipper... when I worked at Dunkin Donuts he was one of the first people in after we opened the store. He was a giving, loving,and caring Man and he will never be forgotten! I met Dennis in 1967, before my family moved from Spencer to Monson. I met him at a picnic at his neighbors house on Mt Dumplin. I've stayed in touch with him since then. One of my oldest friends. He has helped me several times over the years, Dennis has helped many, many people over the years. He was one of the all time good guys and the best tree guy around.
