Meribeth was a compassionate, intelligent soul. Her love of people was exceeded only by her love of her parrots.

Oh- I bet she did; love her parrots!! The thought fills my heart with the same glee I had when (if I walked the long way) I could meet her for the rest of the trek to high school. She was a most delightful companion and I was always so glad to have such a joyful beginning to the day. Reflecting on those times now, I continue to treasure her and be grateful that she seems to have (as my sister in law just said) lived her dreams. We all loved Meribeth - class of '58!!! So our hearts are joined with the many who did. Elmer Fudd (inside joke)

Meribeth lived across the street from me on Bethany Rd. I enjoyed having her for a neighbor. My condolences to her family.
Meribeth, may you rest in peace.
Love, Irene Heintz Haughey
