Bonnie F (Lemon) Bruneau

Monson, MA - Bonnie F. (Lemon) Bruneau (formerly, Bonnie F. Trant) 65, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017, surrounded by her family  following an extended, courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Bonnie was born in Palmer, January 23, 1951.  She grew up in Monson, attended Monson High School and later graduated from Cosmetology School. Bonnie lived most of her adult life in Brimfield and resided for several years in Brewster, MA.  She loved gardening and was very artistic & an avid interior decorator. Bonnie became a Foster Care Provider and opened her heart and home to several children in need for many years.

Bonnie leaves her husband, David Bruneau; her Mother, Hazel Lemon of Monson; two daughters, Tammy Laramee and her husband David of Monson and Shelly Sequin and her husband Jon of Chatham and three step-children Justin Bruneau and his wife Tammy of Southwick, Joanna Redman & her children of Belchertown and Ashley Salvador and her husband Ryan & children of Wilbraham; five grandsons, Gary, Derrick & Jeremy Laviolette, Evan Stevens & Dave Laramee and three granddaughters, Alexandra and Nicole Sequin and Samantha Laramee as well as a great granddaughter, Christina Laviolette along with sisters, Cherry Lemon & her husband Jeff Waldron of Granby, Beverly Tardy & her husband Richard of Palmer, Samantha Lemon of Palmer and brothers, Wayne Lemon and his wife Nancy of Palmer, Norman Lemon of Brimfield and Floyd Lemon and his wife Dee of PA as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was predeceased by her father Norman Lemon of Monson and husband of 31 years Carl A. Trant of Brimfield.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 from 5-8 pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2016 at 11am in the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson.
