Yvonne M (Rich) Nichols-Corish

Palmer- Yvonne M. (Rich) Nichols-Corish, 74, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 surrounded by the love of family at home.  Yvonne was born in Palmer to Joseph J. Rich and Annette Y. (Madelle) Rich Lord.  She retired in 2002 from Monson Developmental Center as a direct care attendant and CNA. Yvonne loved to travel, enjoyed watching the RedSox and football, playing cards and having conversations.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.

Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Sherwood "Pot" Corish in 2009.  She leaves her daughters Sharleen McCabe and her husband Charles of Three Rivers, Melinda Trudell and her husband Roger of Monson; her Mother, Annette Y. Lord of Monson; sister, Carol Fox and her husband David of Three Rivers; brother, Joseph Rich and his wife Linda of Albany, GA; three grandchildren, Erica Lubomski, Andrew McCabe, Roger Trudell, Jr; two great grandchildren Olivia Salmon and Jaxon Lubomski; her first husband John Nichols; step-children, Colleen and Rick Madison of E. Longmeadow, Kathleen Corish of Monson and many nieces and nephews. Yvonne was also predeceased by her father and a daughter Brenda Trant.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 1-4pm  at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St Monson, MA.  Funeral services will begin at 9am Monday, February 8, 2016 at Lombard Funeral Home, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 10am in St. Patrick's Church with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery all in Monson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
